Raw materials and components
Based on the information given by the suppliers, the used raw materials and components are free of hazardous substances. In some of the slow running products and products that are sold as spares there may still be components with lead. Please see the actual status for each product.

SL and GL series plug-in relays
Hazardous substances that are mentioned in the RoHS are not used in the plug in relays. In some special relays and those that are sold as spare parts there may still be lead. The relays are moulded in a plastic case with epoxy resin from which no harmful agents will dissolve. Actual status; see Relays.

DIN-rail relays (S)
The relay from SL-series is soldered in to PCB which is fixed in the feet. Lead is used in the soldering process. For special orders the S-relays can be manufactured lead free. Actual status; see Relays.

For recycling purposes the relays can be crushed in order to separate the materials from each other. The relay is moulded in a plastic case with epoxy resin, thus it is very difficult to disconnect the electronic components unbroken from the PCB.

Mounting sockets and bases
Most of the mounting bases are lead free. Actual status; see Accessories.

Foots and bases can be dismounted. Plastic material is recyclable, PCB´s and metal parts must be destroyed by crushing or by other suitable method.

Adapters
The PLC adapters meet partly the guidelines of RoHS. Actual status; see PLC adapters.

Other accessories
Part of accessories meet the requirements of RoHS. Actual status; see Accessories.

Spare parts
Products sold for spare part purposes can contain lead.
